My name is Gurshan and I am a recent Mechanical Engineering graduate from UBC. I love solving difficult problems by coming up with the most efficient solutions which drove me to become an engineer. I find myself most interested in product design, specifically using my skills to get helpful inventions into people's lives.​​

​​Bodybuilding
It would not be an overstatement to say working out changed my life completely. The delayed gratification and discipline required transformed me as a person. The gym has made me more confident as a person and a better public speaker in social settings as well.
​​Cooking
Cooking is one of my earliest passions. Besides it being a great way to eat healthy and save money, I love to cook for others and create my own recipes.
​​Reading + Astrophysics
Something I can spend countless hours reading and learning about is our universe. Learning the implications of quantum mechanics on whether free will exists, the many worlds theory, or the nature of time never stops to blow my mind.
​​MMA
Besides being a fan of watching the sport, learning kickboxing and jiu-jitsu is an experience that instills discipline. It was something I was initially quite bad at (having people half your size make you tap in seconds humbles you quick), but that weakness led to me becoming addicted to the sport and improving my skills.
